The Context

Maramureș Balloon Fiesta is one of the most visually compelling regional events, with strong community and tourism impact.
For PPC, participation went beyond simple sponsorship, it represented an opportunity to reinforce its positioning as an active and engaged brand within the local ecosystem.

The challenge was not presence.
It was transforming that presence into a coherent and scalable communication asset.

The Activation

As part of its sponsorship, PPC launched an online contest on Instagram, offering two hot air balloon flights as prizes for two lucky winners.
The initiative successfully bridged digital engagement with a real-life premium experience, culminating in the winners taking part in the balloon flights during the festival.

The moment of the flight became the highlight of PPC’s presence at the event—symbolizing freedom, energy, and unforgettable experiences.

Objective

The goal was not merely to document a visually striking event,
but to develop a suite of visual assets designed to:

  • Amplify PPC’s visibility within the festival environment
  • Strengthen the association between the brand and memorable shared experiences
  • Support post-event communication across multiple channels
  • Extend the lifecycle of the activation beyond the event itself
